Gratitude - To Amirah....

When a friend dragged me to her "pole play" session I didn't really know what to expect. You found time, in between helping my crazy friend, to teach me a few spins and instantly I was hooked. As soon as I got home I realised I had to book myself in to classes. So I did and have been attending the Saturday class ever since.

You taught me everything I know, pushed me to progress, spotted me when I needed it (and basically just carried me around a few times, sorry about that!), had patience and at some point along the line became a friend. You've taken me across the country on trips to workshops and competitions. In particular I appreciate you taking us on two trips to take classes with Felix Cane, my pole idol. You helped me to become an instructor and set me up with my own classes. You're the reason I have so much more confidence now than ever before. You've exposed me to new things - like 13 mile mud runs in the pissing rain. No one else could get me to do that! You inspire me to work harder.

Thanks to you my life is a billion times better than it ever has been. I am eternally grateful for all you've done.
